Consumers Feel Favorably About Brand Use Of AI

Many U.S. consumers said they support the idea of brands using generative artificial intelligence, the technology that powers popular apps such as ChatGPT, to create products, services and experiences, though there are differences in opinion among age groups, a survey by advertising agency Dentsu found.

Almost two-thirds (63%) of men said it’s acceptable for brands to create ads or content with generative AI, compared with 57% of women. In addition, about three-fourths (73%) of Millennials are supportive of generative AI for creating ads or content, compared with only 44% of Baby Boomers, the survey found.
