Inside Radio has named Sean McDevitt as managing editor, effective May 16.
McDevitt replaces Paul Heine, who is retiring, the
publication reports. Heine has spent 15 years with Inside Radio and 47 years in the radio business overall.
“Inside Radio is the
industry’s most trusted news source, and I’m honored for the chance to continue the strong editorial legacy that Paul has built,” McDevitt says.
McDevitt, who will oversee editorial content at Inside Radio, has worked in editorial posts at CBS News, Bloomberg Television, CNN Money and other publications. He will report to
Gene McKay, publisher and manager of Inside Radio.
