22squared is rearranging its senior leadership team following December’s restructuring that elevated the agency’s longtime Chairman & CEO Richard Ward to oversee a new parent company titled Guided By Good (GBG).
Under the reorganization, Chief Client Officer Erica Hoholick will assume the dual roles of president and chief operating officer. The latter role is a newly created position within the company, and she will continue to report to Ward.
Under her leadership, 22Squared will continue operating independently as a fully integrated, mid-sized agency, while advancing its relationships with GBG sister brands Trade School (content & production) and Dendro (consultancy).
In addition,
Hoholick will be tasked with further building out her executive team and focusing on the growth and advancement of diversity and inclusion within her team. Within the role of chief operating officer,
she will also have full financial and operational responsibility for the agency.
“What’s exciting about Erica is her commitment to culture and actionable equity,” states Ward.
“Our industry has gone stale and needs to evolve in order to reflect our clients’ audiences and cultures. Erica knew this from day one.”
